Clinical Management of Restorative Complications in Dental Implant Therapy
COURSE OVERVIEW
Despite the high success rates of dental implants, restorative complications remain a common clinical challenge. This course provides a structured, evidence-based approach to the diagnosis, prevention and management of complications associated with implant-supported restorations. Through case-based learning, participants will examine mechanical, biologic and esthetic complications affecting implant-supported crowns, fixed partial dentures and full-arch prostheses. Emphasis will be placed on clinical decision-making, prosthetic design and maintenance strategies that support long-term restorative success.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, attendees should be able to:
■ Identify and diagnose common restorative complications in implant-supported prostheses by evaluating prosthetic design, occlusion, material selection and peri-implant tissue conditions
■ Select appropriate complication management strategies based on clinical findings and evidence-based treatment principles
■ Implement preventive protocols involving prosthetic design, restorative materials, occlusal considerations and maintenance strategies to reduce the risk of future complications
