COURSE OVERVIEW

Conventional fabrication of flexible removable partial dentures (RPDs) is a labor-intensive, multi-step process that can introduce variability and inefficiencies in both laboratory production and clinical outcomes. This course explores how advancements in digital workflows and 3D printing technology are transforming the design and fabrication of flexible RPDs.

Participants will review current industry and edentulism trends, compare traditional and digital fabrication methods, and examine the material science and mechanical properties of 3D-printed flexible prostheses. The presentation will also outline integrated lab–to-clinic workflows and highlight clinical and operational benefits for both providers and patients.
