COURSE OVERVIEW

While digital scanning is widely used in modern dentistry, certain clinical situations still require a traditional impression to achieve accurate results. Subgingival margins, full arch restorations, complex implant placement and edentulous cases can present challenges for digital workflows.

This course identifies when a physical impression is necessary, outlining proper materials selection, tray design and best practices for predictable outcomes in crown and bridge, removable, single implant and All-on-X cases.

He has extensive experience fabricating analog and digital prosthetics, with expertise in implant-supported and retained restorations. A respected lecturer on both laboratory and clinical aspects of restorative dentistry, Tramain trains technicians and provides clinical support in case planning, troubleshooting and implant placement.
