Management of a Compromised Aesthetic Zone

COURSE OVERVIEW
This course will discuss various treatment modalities for fractured, malformed and weakened teeth in the aesthetic zone. The course will highlight the surgical and restorative aspects of therapy. We will present modern concepts such as submerged root therapy with a tooth-borne dental prosthesis, resin-bonded restorations and implant-supported restorations.

Ibrahim Duqum, DDS, MS, FICD


Dr. Ibrahim Duqum is a Professor of Prosthodontics and the Director of Clinical Education at UNC-Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. He completed his DDS degree at the University of Jordan and earned an M.S. in Prosthodontics from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2008. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the ADEA Leadership Institute. A published author, Dr. Duqum lectures nationally and internationally about all aspects of prosthodontics, aesthetics and dental implant therapy.
