Deciding how many implants should be utilized in the rehabilitation of various clinical situations is often a challenging exercise. Many factors are involved in the decision-making process, such as local anatomy, biomechanics, function, aesthetics and more. This presentation will provide guidance on how to plan in general terms for implant-supported restorations for various clinical scenarios considering all the important parameters for treatment planning and clinical decision making.

Dr. Ibrahim Duqum is a Professor of Prosthodontics and and The Chair of the Department of Restorative Sciences at UNC-Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. He completed his DDS degree at the University of Jordan and earned an M.S. in Prosthodontics from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2008. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the ADEA Leadership Institute. A published author, Dr. Duqum lectures nationally and internationally about all aspects of prosthodontics, aesthetics and dental implant therapy.
