Treatment Planning and Materials Selection for Tooth-borne Cases
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course provides a comprehensive overview of treatment planning considerations for large tooth borne restorative cases. Participants will examine strategies for effective patient communication, interdisciplinary coordination, restorative sequencing and provisionalization. This session will further explore principles of restorative materials selection and clinical decision making to support predictable aesthetics and functional outcomes in complex tooth borne cases.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, attendees should be able to:
■ Communicate treatment goals, expectations and procedural considerations clearly and effectively with patients throughout the treatment planning process
■ Implement a structured, repeatable methodology for planning and restoring large tooth borne cases to achieve predictable clinical outcomes
■ Integrate a multidisciplinary team—such as periodontists, orthodontists, prosthodontists and laboratory technicians—into comprehensive treatment planning and case execution
■ Apply evidence based principles for selecting appropriate restorative materials based on clinical requirements, aesthetic demands and patient specific variables
