COURSE OVERVIEW
This course reviews the laboratory requirements in achieving accurate fixed crown and bridge, denture and implant impressions. Participants will examine materials selection and technique considerations that influence impression accuracy. Emphasis is placed on proven, traditional impression techniques that support predictable and repeatable clinical outcomes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course, attendees should be able to:
■ Explain how physical impression techniques have evolved over time
■ Identify and select appropriate clinical situations for using physical impressions
■ Assess whether a physical impression is accurate and clinically acceptable
■ Identify and correct possible problems when taking impressions for fixed and removable cases

Tramain Watkins, BA, CDT, has been working in the dental laboratory industry for more than 35 years. He has extensive experience fabricating analog and digital prosthetics, with expertise in implant-supported and retained restorations. A respected lecturer on both laboratory and clinical aspects of restorative dentistry, Tramain trains technicians and provides clinical support in case planning, troubleshooting and implant placement.

To earn CE credit, a user must register for and then engage with the webinar on the published course date. Upon webinar conclusion, the course quiz and survey will be accessible to be completed.  Once both elements are finished, the CE Certificate will unlock and will be available for download.
