COURSE OVERVIEW
This three part series provides an in depth overview of key developments in implant dentistry throughout the past 30 years from a dental technician’s perspective. Participants will learn a structured, four step method for pre surgical treatment planning aimed at achieving predictable restorative outcomes.

The course will also examine the advantages and limitations of common implant restorative options and will review the essential steps, design considerations and collaborative planning required to complete a definitive implant prosthesis required to successfully complete a definitive implant prosthesis.


LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course, attendees should be able to:
■ Verbally and visually identify foundational implant biomechanics and recognize commonly used prosthetic components involved in implant restorations
■ Describe treatment phases and protocols associated with routine implant restorations and apply them within the restorative planning process
■ Explain when an analog impression technique is indicated in the aesthetic zone based on tissue conditions, restorative requirements and accuracy needs
■ Select an appropriate definitive prosthesis by evaluating clinical, anatomical and patient specific factors affecting restorative success

Mr. Carlson has more than 40 years of experience in dentistry, including nearly 30 years focused on dental implants. His career has focused on education, clinical protocol development and product innovation for full arch reconstruction on both national and international levels. As Senior Implant Specialist for NDX® nSequence, Mr. Carlson provides technical chairside support and lectures nationally on immediately loading full arch restorations, NDX® nSequence Guided Prosthetics® and advancements in full arch implant technology.

To earn CE credit, a user must register for and then engage with the webinar on the published course date. Upon webinar conclusion, the course quiz and survey will be accessible to be completed.  Once both elements are finished, the CE Certificate will unlock and will be available for download.
