Digital Dentures
in Your Practice
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course provides foundational concepts in denture occlusion, tooth position and functional anatomy while reviewing the conventional analog workflow for complete dentures. Participants will evaluate the advantages of digital denture solutions and explore fully digital and hybrid analog/digital workflows currently available in clinical practice.
This session will also introduce an emerging facial scanning technique designed to enable efficient, two appointment denture workflows. Practical considerations for integrating digital dentures into daily practice will be emphasized throughout.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, attendees should be able to:
■ Analyze articulation principles and occlusal schemes to support predictable function in denture patients
■ Apply concepts of posterior tooth morphology and spatial positioning to enhance denture stability and patient comfort
■ Manipulate anterior tooth position to achieve optimal aesthetics, phonetics and functional balance
■ Evaluate the intrinsic advantages of digital denture technologies as compared to conventional analog methods
■ Implement fully digital and hybrid analog/digital denture workflows, including emerging facial scanning protocols
