SESSION OVERVIEW
As more patients continue to choose implants as the optimal solution for replacing missing teeth, we need to be more informed about these important procedures. In this course, we will cover a brief history of implants, an overview of implant placement and restoration, including some discussion regarding complications and a very brief overview of All-on-X treatment.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this recording, attendees should be able to:
■ Understand the history of osseointegrated implants
■ Understand freehand implant placement and the importance of implant selection
■Evaluate the choices to be made and the potential consequences to restoring dental implants
■ Troubleshoot implant placement and restoration complications and deploy practices to both prevent and address them
■ Gain a general understanding of All-on-X
