Team Training for Digital Workflows with Full Arch AOX

COURSE OVERVIEW

When transitioning to a digital workflow for an All-on-X case, clinicians must navigate many decisions that may not be initially anticipated. These include selecting appropriate digital technologies and establishing efficient pre-surgical, surgical, and prosthetic workflows. The entire team plays a vital role in supporting both the clinician and the patient throughout the process. The responsibilities of each team member will be discussed to help ensure a smooth, coordinated, and predictable workflow.

This course provides a comprehensive review of the essential steps and protocols involved at every stage of treatment. Both digital and analog records will be reviewed to ensure that appropriate methods for capturing and communicating the required data are effectively implemented.

Audience:
This course is designed for dentists, dental laboratory professionals, hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative team members involved in Full-Arch AOX treatment workflows.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course, attendees should be able to:
  • Identify the pre-surgical records required for Full Arch AOX treatment and describe appropriate methods for obtaining them
  • Apply clinical and organizational strategies to support the clinician and patient throughout the treatment process
  • Differentiate between definitive prosthesis options and select the appropriate solution(s) based on patient needs and treatment goals
  • Utilize ancillary scanning components and devices as applicable
  • Compile and submit the digital records for laboratory communication during each stage of treatment

Mr. Carlson has more than 40 years of experience in dentistry, including nearly 30 years focused on dental implants. His career has focused on education, clinical protocol development and product innovation for full arch reconstruction on both national and international levels. As Senior Implant Specialist for NDX® nSequence, Mr. Carlson provides technical chairside support and lectures nationally on immediately loading full arch restorations, NDX® nSequence Guided Prosthetics® and advancements in full arch implant technology.

Recommended Pre-requisites

Prior to attendance of this program, it is our suggestion to have studied:
  • Basic understanding of implant dentistry terminology
  • Familiarity with general restorative dental workflows
  • Experience working in a dental practice or dental laboratory environment
  • General knowledge of digital dentistry concepts, including intraoral scanning
  • Participation in Full-Arch AOX case planning or treatment is beneficial but not required
